Mixed projects and work today, was especially fun to continue recording cello with a pick..
Two acoustic projects in production
Continuing to work on the current two acoustic projects today. Project 1 might need a few additional guitar recordings and project 2 is soon to be mixed, ..just trimming the audio files and putting a selection of EQ’s on them. This is an area that excites me a lot – recording at different angels, applying subtle eq or compression using a range of plugs and/or pre-amps really opens up the sound and overall spatiality.
Prep for mixdown
Preparations – doing a mixdown of new urban electronica track. Eq pan vol compression ..small adjustmemts makes a lot of difference. To be released soon, stay tuned!
Mixed stuff
..yeah really mixed stuff, working parallel projects and everything going ok I guess, but then I got this idea doubling 4 staccato string sets and bam everything just bloomed.. found a really nice drum groove, altered it and added some mean bass, great stuff, can’t wait to share next week.. now over to other projects >>
Electronica sketches to a club beat
Got nice vibes on an electronic beat this morning, been trying a lot of bass, guitar and synth phrases and finally come up with a cool bass-line, infectious stuff
