Two acoustic projects in production

Continuing to work on the current two acoustic projects today. Project 1 might need a few additional guitar recordings and project 2 is soon to be mixed, ..just trimming the audio files and putting a selection of EQ’s on them. This is an area that excites me a lot – recording at different angels, applying subtle eq or compression using a range of plugs and/or pre-amps really opens up the sound and overall spatiality.

Acoustic recordings

Acoustic recordings for starters.. a minimalist arrangement of 9 stems of nylon- and steel-stringed acoustic guitars so far.. Got new strings on the nylon and that’s nice though it requires a bit more effort on the playing technique trying to avoid too much “sparkling” fret/string noises.

First I got this idea of getting advanced polyrythmics in there, but then dropped it, thought it was quite nice doing it simpler..
