The music catalogue has been re-tagged and recoded:
- Now you can search for a combo of multiple tags at once! Visit the music tag search page to learn more.
- Logged in clients can download high-res mp3 and wav files directly. Login at the music server and then return to the music catalogue and voila downloads available at lightning speed!
- All audio previews has been recoded as html5 embedded mp3 audio in the catalogue, meaning you can preview clips on your iPad, iPhone and other mobile devices as well! Most internet browsers are also supported (currently not Firefox & Opera). This is also a way of adjusting to new future releases on the tablet market. Music server high-res previews will remain flash based. The old flash players are still available at http://niklasaman.com/music/download-demos/.

A new music license option is available for filmmakers doing contributions to competitions and festivals. Get a music license for 10% of eventual prize money. Risk free and no additional fees if you don’t win, ie if you want to use it as a personal reel/demo on Vimeo, YouTube, etc. If you prefer you can of course license it at standard rates instead of sharing the prize.

It’s one year since launch and looking back I want to thank you all for a first great year with the music catalogue. The interest has been way beyond my expectations – very very happy for that 
. I’m also very excited about a couple of new features being added to the music catalogue at the moment.
- Increased music search/tag options, login at server then go to http://niklasaman.com/music and voila you can download directly from site (works on the newest tracks, try it.. will be finished at the end of Sep).
- New low rate on the Goldlicense – just $1500/€1000/£900/year (2nd, 3rd, etc it’s 20% off).
- Buy licenses for more than $300 and get a 20% discount on all future orders.
- Anniversary offer, buy a Goldlicense and pay only for the differences between the sum of previous licenses and the annual rate! An example, say you’ve bought licenses for a total of $470, you first get 20% off $1500 = $1200 and then it’s $1200 – $470= $730 for the first year of unlimited usage and no reports. Offer valid thru 2011.
- New rates on bespoke/custom music that can be made for exclusive or non-exclusive use. Non-exclusive means you get a tailored track but others can license it as well. Exclusive means you only have the right to use the track.
